Sandy Run Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Oreland, Pennsylvania.
Sandy Run Country Club was chartered in June, 1923, under the name of the Edgehill Golf Club. The course was designed by Frank Meehan. It opened for play in 1925. In 1927, taking its name from the stream that runs through the property-- and today lends considerable character to the par-5 8th-- the club became Sandy Run Country Club.
This is a somewhat open course, but there is a defined cut of rough bordering the fairways and many holes are tree lined. There are many sand bunkers spread throughout the course, but only one water hazard. The greens vary in undulation and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions.
The Sandy Run Golf Course plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,625 yards. The course rating is 71.4 with a slope rating of 129.

I enjoyed playing at Sandy Run. One of the better courses in the area. I appreciated the invite!
